About

When macOS 26 replaced the old Launchpad, I missed the simple act of opening a grid and finding an app by sight. I built Launchie to bring that workflow back while making the layout more useful for people with a lot of apps.

Launchie lets you arrange apps and folders by dragging them into place. Spaces keep different collections apart, while search and Quick Access help when you already know what you want to open. You can tailor the grid, appearance, and keyboard shortcut, then back up the layout for another Mac.

The macOS app is built with SwiftUI and AppKit. I also built its website, where you can see the app in action and find the current download options.
